Summary
Strong B2B experience
Order entry, tracking, and communication with customers
Great communication skills working with sales, production, purchasing, and other business functions
Manufacturing background extremely helpful
Strong technical ability to learn custom software
Process orders received; reviewing for accuracy of pricing, codes and nomenclature
Confirm orders, along with all pertinent information, to customer in timely manner
Provide customers with accurate updates on order status, ensuring expectations are set clearly
Address customer concerns and complaints; initiating an internal case to capture details when necessary and bringing case to resolution
Organized and able to multi-task / prioritize to ensure workload is being managed successfully and accurately
Efficiently and professionally responds to customer and Account Manager inquiries
Decipher and distribute requests to the appropriate internal departments
Communicate efficiently with the off-site corporate office contacts
Set-up customers to access our Web Portal to retrieve available documentation
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred
2 years prior customer care experience preferred; Flavor or Fragrance industry experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn order processing and data management software
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
Effective problem solving skills
Must be highly customer focused
Ability to handle customers in difficult situations
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a team setting
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
Ability to process simple math transactions in various units of measure
