Project Support Specialist – National Accounts

Who we’re looking for:

The Project Support Specialist is a National Accounts team member responsible for supporting the needs of the National Accounts Sales Operations team. The team member is responsible for supporting other team members with overflow; small project coordination; customer, vendor, and contractor follow-up and outreach; data and order entry; and other tasks as assigned.

What you will be doing as a key player on our dynamic team:

Efficiently processes inquiries, delivering prompt customer communication throughout.

Navigates existing technologies to quote and process orders, following outlined processes.

Manages queues of orders and open inquiries to deliver customer materials on time and in full.

Work with vendors and agencies, as needed, to request material, understand shipping timelines, and request escalations as needed.

Communicates across teams to inform of any delays, challenges, and keep up to date on order progress.

Accurately enters data into systems, including correct financials.

Ensures accurate and thorough documentation in systems including purchase order attachments.

Prepares reports, forecasts, or bill of materials, based upon the direction of Manager.

Interfaces with web portals, as needed, to access construction drawings, post quotes and change orders correctly, and asks or responds to additional information requests following company guidelines.

Builds product and customer service knowledge through regular learning and development.

Follows standard process of assigned project queues, clearing assigned functions and queues daily.

Proactively works to address customer needs independently, pulling in other team members and Manager, as needed.

Maintains ethical, cooperative customer relationships consistent with company image, mission, vision, and values.

Experience:

Experience working in a team environment.

Experience in customer service.

Experience in lighting and / or electrical distribution equipment. (Preferred)

Experience in distribution, large retail, or service organization. (Preferred)

Technical Skills:

Data entry and navigation.

Experience in Microsoft Office.

Groove experience. (Preferred)

Epicor Solar Eclipse experience. (Preferred)

Education:

High school diploma with 2+ years of professional work experience (Required)

Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
