Position: Account Executive
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Type: Full-time, Salaried + Commission
Reports to: VP of Sales and Marketing
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and high-energy Account Executive to join our team and drive the expansion of our client base. In this role, you will be responsible for the full sales cycle – prospecting, pitching, and closing new business deals for our Software as a Service (SaaS) and processing solutions, with a particular focus on the Hospitality industry. You will operate within your assigned local territory, building strong relationships with local businesses to help them enhance their operations. We are looking for individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who excel at relationship building and understand the challenges faced by small and midsize businesses. You will earn a competitive base salary and attractive ongoing commissions on the revenue generated from the sites you successfully close and activate.
Responsibilities:
Prospect and generate new leads through various methods including cold calls, networking, referrals, and following up on inbound interest.
Demonstrate how our solutions meet client needs through informative presentations and demos.
Drive the closing process, including contract negotiation and final agreement.
Take ownership of the entire sales cycle within a specific territory, including initiating contact, developing solutions tailored to meet prospect needs, and successfully closing new business agreements.
Consistently meet sales objectives by specializing in the sale of software, POS, and payment processing.
Manage the post-sale handoff process by collaborating with onboarding and client success teams.
Take responsibility for ensuring client expectations set during sales are met through collaboration with relevant team members.
Maintain up-to-date CRM records for all sales activities and effectively manage the progression of deals through the pipeline.
Maintain a strong understanding of competitors and market trends to best position Pittsburgh POS.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess at least two years of sales experience, with a preference for B2B environments. Prior experience within the restaurant or hospitality industries is beneficial.
Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
High proficiency in communication (written and verbal), organization, presentation delivery, and negotiation.
Skilled at communicating technical ideas effectively and empathetically to non-technical individuals.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment.
Proficient in analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities.
Confident conducting training and sales sessions (in-person).
Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Highly responsive and skilled in communicating through various channels (email, phone, etc.)
Ability to effectively utilize software tools required for the role.
This position requires reliable personal transportation for client visits and territory management.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: $60,000 per year + Commission.
