We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse and Assembly Associate to join our team and support our mission of achieving operational excellence.

Job Summary:

The Warehouse and Assembly Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping inventory, and assembly of products, such as automated valve packages. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving & Stocking: Unload, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments. Verify the accuracy of shipments against packing lists and purchase orders and update the warehouse management system, Infor SXe. Store products in designated areas.

Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to company standards for quality and timeliness. Ensure proper labeling and prepare orders for shipping.

Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation to maintain accurate stock levels. Identify and report any discrepancies.

Shipping & Logistics: Prepare and package products for shipment. Coordinate with shipping providers to ensure timely outbound deliveries.

Assembly: Occasionally, prepare, assemble, and test products per work orders and documented specifications.

Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following safety protocols and company guidelines.

Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.

Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse supervisors, branch managers, inside sales, and customer service teams to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role. We’re committed to training to ensure success in this role.

Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, and the ability to learn our inventory management software, Infor SXe.

Aptitude: A good understanding of mechanical theory and principles in an industrial setting is essential.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.

Work Ethic: Punctuality, dependability, and a strong sense of responsibility are essential for success in this role.

Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus but not required. Training will be provided for qualified candidates.
