Warehouse Manager

Job Description

The list of duties is a multifaceted role but not limited to the following:

1. **Inventory Management**: Managing inventory of products like open cell resin, closed cell resin, isocyanate (ISO), and intumescent coatings, and maintaining adequate inventory levels.

2. **Coordination with Corporate Office and Purchasing Agents**: Working with and taking direction from the corporate office and purchasing agents regarding inventory and logistics.

3. **Shipping and Receiving**: Coordinating the shipping & receiving of goods, including pails, drums, totes, and pallets.

4. **Tracking of Materials**: Tracking materials and goods moving in and out of the warehouse, recording lot numbers, quantities, and keeping signed copies of receipts for every shipment.

5. **Communication with Freight Companies and Customer Service**: Following up with freight companies and AMBIT’s customer service team to assist in the supply of materials necessary for business operations.

6. **Order Processing**: Processing orders for customers and assisting in the overall needs and requirements of the business.

7. **Loading and Unloading Materials**: Loading and unloading material on box trucks, semi-trucks, flatbeds, trailers using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts.

8. **Securing and Strapping Loads**: Securing and strapping of drums as required or instructed by AMBIT.

9. **Inventory Records**: Maintaining daily inventory levels, recording them accurately, promptly, and sharing electronically with the corporate office.

10. **Cleanliness and Organization**: Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse property.

11. **Reporting Issues**: Reporting any issues with materials, accidents, chemical spills, or building maintenance problems at the time of incident or observation.

12. **Collecting Payment**: Collecting payment from customers or other entities for goods sold or services rendered.

13. **Making Deposits**: Responsible for making deposits of collected payments into the company's bank account in a timely and secure manner.
