Job Description
Position: Tool and Die Maker/Machinist
The tool and die maker/Machinist position is a full-time position with the expectation of roughly 30% tool and die machining, and 70% metal manufacturing production. A candidate would be expected to have 5 or more years of experience in tool and die/machining or similar setting. Pay is $25 an hour, but can depend on experience. Monday-Thursday 7AM-5:30PM
Some required, but not all responsibilities include:
Tool and Die Machining and Designing
Blueprint interpretation and design
AutoCAD or similar application
CNC Machining Lathe programming, setup, and teardown
Knee Mill or similar drilling apparatus knowledge and use
Measurement instrument understanding a must
Additional applied skills a plus:
Open Back Inclinable Press design, setup, and teardown
Hydraulic Press Operation
CNC parts manufacturing
Shipping/Receiving
Steel and Aluminum Sheet Handling and Shearing
