1st Shift Sales Representative
Location: Columbus, OH 43213
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8 AM-5 PM
Pay rate: Starting at $20.00/hour, with the potential for additional commission pay for candidates with extensive experience in cabinetry sales.
Duties:
Marketing Strategy & Client Acquisition:
Analyze regional market trends and develop targeted marketing strategies and plans. Use a range of marketing methods, including media, digital platforms, and direct outreach, to attract and engage new clients and expand the customer base.
Custom Cabinet Design:
Design and create customized cabinetry plans using kitchen design software, ensuring each design aligns with customer needs and company standards.
On-Site Client Consultations:
Conduct preliminary on-site visits to clients to measure project specifications, ensuring all details are accurate and align with the customer’s expectations.
Product & Order Specifications:
Provide clients with detailed order and product specifications, including pricing, installation guidelines, maintenance tips, care instructions, and product warranties.
Customer Issue Resolution:
Work closely with Client Services and Product Support teams to resolve any customer issues promptly and to the customer’s satisfaction.
Showroom Management & Sales Support:
Assist in the presentation and maintenance of showroom displays to ensure they adhere to brand standards and maximize sales potential.
Reporting & Performance Tracking:
Keep management updated on daily activities, sales progress, and customer interactions by submitting regular reports, including daily call logs, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual performance analyses.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor competitors by gathering information on pricing, product offerings, and emerging trends to stay ahead of market developments and adjust strategies accordingly.
Product & Service Recommendations:
Evaluate customer feedback and competitive trends to recommend improvements in products, services, and company policies.
Customer Satisfaction & Problem Solving:
Address and resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, proposing solutions, and preparing reports for management review.
Professional Development:
Stay current on industry trends and enhance professional knowledge by attending workshops, reading industry publications, networking, and engaging in professional societies.
Sales Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate historical records of regional and customer sales, tracking progress and ensuring effective follow-up.
Team Collaboration:
Contribute to team efforts by collaborating with colleagues and achieving common goals.
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or experience in the kitchen cabinetry industry, with a proven track record in business development and client relations.
Strong sales and customer service skills
Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
Technologically proficient, especially in the use of kitchen design software
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
A keen eye for detail and high standards in customer service and product quality
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
