Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Manager (Hong Kong)

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Manager to lead and implement data security initiatives, ensuring the protection of sensitive information across the organization's systems, applications, and cloud environments. This role requires deep expertise in data security, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation, with a strong focus on proactive DLP strategy and enforcement.

Key Responsibilities:

- DLP Strategy & Implementation: Design, deploy, and continuously enhance Data Loss Prevention policies and solutions to protect confidential data against unauthorized access, leakage, or theft.

- Data Security & Protection: Oversee data classification, access controls, and encryption to ensure comprehensive protection of critical business data.

- Govern Compliance & Regulatory Requirements: Ensure alignment with GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and other global data protection standards.

- Threat Monitoring & Incident Response: Collaborate with Security Operations to analyze DLP alerts, conduct investigations, and lead incident response activities related to data breaches.

- Cloud & Endpoint Data Protection: Manage DLP security controls for cloud-based environments (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS), endpoints, email, and file-sharing platforms.

- User Awareness & Training: Develop data security awareness programs to educate employees on best practices and compliance requirements.

- Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting: Prepare and present DLP metrics, risk assessments, and data security reports to IT leadership and business executives.

- Technology Evaluation & Enhancement: Assess emerging DLP technologies, optimize security tools, and drive innovation in data protection mechanisms.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 7+ years of experience in data security, information governance, and DLP program management.

- Strong expertise in DLP platforms (Microsoft Purview DLP, Symantec DLP, Forcepoint, Digital Guardian, etc.).

- Hands-on experience with cloud security tools (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data protection solutions.

- Knowledge of data classification models, encryption standards, and identity and access management (IAM).

- Familiarity with zero-trust security principles and modern data security frameworks.

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CDPSE, or equivalent preferred.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to drive data protection initiatives across technical and business teams.
