Platform Security Technical Lead (Hong Kong)

We are seeking a seasoned cybersecurity leader to serve as the Senior Manager, Platform Security, responsible for shaping and executing the organization's security strategy across classic, virtual, container, and cloud environments, as well as email and web gateways. This role requires a visionary approach to cybersecurity, balancing technical excellence, governance oversight, and strategic leadership to ensure a resilient security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Security Leadership: Define and drive platform security strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Security Governance & Risk Management: Establish and oversee security governance frameworks, policies, and risk assessments across cloud, endpoint, network, and application security domains.

- Ensure Security Controls & Logging: Ensure security controls are embedded in all platforms and facilitate real-time security logging for SOC, enhancing proactive threat detection and response.

- Firewall, IDS/IPS & API Security Governance: Lead the governance of firewall rules, IDS/IPS signatures, web application firewall policies, and API security to safeguard digital assets and applications.

- Cloud & Container Security Strategy: Architect secure cloud environments, ensure container security best practices, and drive the adoption of zero-trust models.

- Threat Management & Incident Response: Provide oversight to threat intelligence, SIEM operations, and incident response workflows, ensuring an agile and proactive defense strategy.

- Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting: Develop and present platform and network security metrics, reports, and service highlights to IT executives and business leaders, enabling informed decision-making.

- Emerging Security Technologies & Innovation: Evaluate and introduce cutting-edge security solutions to strengthen cyber resilience, advocating for continual improvement and innovation.

- Security Program & Team Leadership: Guide security teams in policy enforcement, risk mitigation, and strategic planning, fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness and excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:

- 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.

- Proven expertise in platform security across multi-cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.

- Deep knowledge of SIEM, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, and identity security.

- Strong grasp of zero-trust architecture, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST/CIS frameworks, and global cybersecurity best practices.

- Advanced experience in security governance, risk management, and compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).

- Recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP or equivalent preferred.

- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to drive cybersecurity initiatives at an executive level.
