Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or similar. This role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and security protocols. Candidates must successfully pass a background check prior to employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
Implement and enforce security protocols, including firewalls, access controls, and backups.
Manage user accounts, workstations, and technology tools.
Upgrade systems with new releases and models as needed.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
Provide technical support and training to staff on new technologies.
Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration or a similar role.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Server+, MCSE, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, network configuration, and database management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
