As part of the digital transformation journey, we are seeking a strategic and technically adept Digital Engineering and Delivery Director to lead the development and delivery initiatives.

The Digital Engineering and Delivery Director will be a senior technical leader responsible for defining and executing the technology strategy across our digital platforms. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and proven leadership capabilities to manage and inspire a large development team, ensuring the delivery of innovative, scalable, and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement the digital engineering strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.

- Drive innovation in digital product offerings, ensuring they meet market demands and exceed customer expectations.

- Oversee the design and architecture of full-stack Java applications, leveraging frameworks such as Spring Boot and Angular or React for robust and efficient solutions.

- Lead the development of web and mobile applications, utilizing the latest technologies and best practices in both native and cross-platform development environments.

- Ensure the implementation of secure and efficient RESTful APIs, incorporating API management tools for optimal performance and integration.

- Guide the adoption and optimization of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for infrastructure scalability and reliability.

- Promote DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, to enhance development efficiency and accelerate deployment cycles.

- Champion agile methodologies within the organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and flexibility in project management.

- Mentor and coach teams to effectively implement agile practices, ensuring faster and more efficient product delivery.

- Manage and inspire a sizeable team of developers, cultivating a high-performance culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of technology solutions with business processes.

- Analyze complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions to enhance system architecture and performance.

- Stay informed of emerging technology trends and advancements, integrating them into the strategic roadmap.

Qualifications:

- Extensive experience in full-stack Java development, with expertise in frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, Angular, or React.

- Proficiency in web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and mobile development (iOS, Android, React Native, or Flutter).

- Strong background in API design and management, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).

- In-depth understanding of agile methodologies and demonstrated success in leading agile transformations.

- Proven leadership experience managing large technical teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a strategic mindset and a focus on delivering business value.
