Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona, on a Contract-to-Permanent basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in records, and supporting the company's day-to-day accounting operations. This is a fully in-office position with a flexible Monday through Friday schedule.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts and perform account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
• Handle billing and expense processing, including incoming and outgoing checks.
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online.
• Assist with month-end close activities and prepare necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with the company's accountant for payroll and governmental reporting.
• Monitor and track financial data to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide support for pay applications and related financial documentation.
• Generate financial reports as needed to assist in decision-making.
• Ensure all data entry tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.• Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related financial role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and strong familiarity with bookkeeping software.
• Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Familiarity with month-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and external accountants.
