Job Description
As a Cleanroom Technician, you will be primarily responsible for assembling complex medical devices for projects in Phase 2/3. Your role will involve working with small, delicate components, using tools like microscopes, calipers, and micrometers to ensure precision in assembly. You will play a crucial part in quality assurance by accurately and promptly filling out records and conducting thorough inspections of components and finished goods.
Responsibilities
Assemble complex medical devices for projects in Phase 2/3.
Accurately and promptly fill out quality assurance records.
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components, assemblies, and finished goods.
Assemble under a microscope for up to 6 hours a day.
Work with small, delicate components, and heat plastic and metal parts.
Read and interpret work instructions and blueprints.
Dispense and cure adhesives for various builds.Essential Skills
3 years of catheter assembly experience.
2 years of experience using microscopes.
Familiarity with GMP and SOP standards.
Proficiency in document control and inspection processes.
Experience with hand tools, calipers, and micrometers.
Manual dexterity for handling small components.
Knowledge of laser welding and catheter assembly.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with laser welding of metals and operating related machinery.
Previous experience in NPI manufacturing is a bonus.

Work Environment
Work in a small team comprised of 2 technicians and 7 engineers. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, with potential flexibility after training. The environment provides exposure to both volume manufacturing and R&D work, allowing for a diverse and engaging work experience.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, California.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
