We are looking for a Senior FPGA Engineer to join our team in Newtown, PA!
This is an opportunity to take a leadership role in electronic hardware circuit design and development. As a Senior FPGA Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of a core component of a Data Acquisition and Network Recorder products that play a critical role in flight test analysis. You will be part of a dynamic engineering team that leads the development of ruggedized embedded systems, that meet stringent commercial and military product requirements.

YOUR CHALLENGE:
Lead the design and development of FPGA design parts of .
Oversee and contribute to FPGA design activities, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Provide technical leadership working with systems engineers to define FPGA based hardware architectures and system-level solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including embedded software and hardware engineers, to develop robust products optimizing for the best product design solution.
Drive the creation of technical documentation related to FPGA development, including flow charts, design specifications, and contribute to end-user product documentation.
Support more junior engineers, providing technical expertise and leadership in problem-solving.
Provide sustaining engineering support for fielded products related to the FPGA elements of the design, supporting design improvements and obsolescence management related activities.
Undertake any other activities necessary to support end-product development as requested by management.
WHAT YOU BRING:
BS or MS in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering (from an accredited college or university).
5+ years of experience in hardware design and development, with expertise in FPGA digital hardware design
Experienced in all stages of FPGA development including requirements management, RTL Design, verification, synthesis, timing analysis through lab bringup and validation.
FPGA development using Verilog or VHDL.
Deep understanding of FPGA architecture tool design and tradeoffs when operating in a need for a high reliability design environment.
Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of complex design challenges.
Strong communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with embedded software personnel and hardware design engineers during product development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solution-driven mindset.
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be a sole US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance.
