As Supply Chain Manager, you’ll be a key player in managing materials and sourcing strategies that support production and capital projects. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and vendors to ensure operations run smoothly and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee procurement of raw materials and MRO supplies.
• Negotiate vendor contracts for capital equipment, parts, and services.
• Develop sourcing strategies that drive cost savings and efficiency.
• Partner with internal teams to optimize inventory management and supplier relationships.
• Lead process improvements to enhance quality, delivery, and total costs.
Minimum requirements & qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment with capital sourcing experience.
• Strong purchasing background with a proven ability to negotiate and manage suppliers.
• Paper industry experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
