Engineering Project Specialist Job Description As an Engineering Project Specialist, you will provide support to Rel Engineers and Technicians in one of three areas: Hardware Librarian, Coordinator, Facilities.

The role combines inventory management with customer service and logistics to enable on-time Rel testing.

Key Qualifications • Inventory-management experience • Excellent customer-service and time-management skills • Detail-oriented • Strong written and verbal communications skills • Can operate independently • Uses critical-thinking when responding to customer requests • Responds to changing priorities quickly and efficiently; thrives in fast-paced environment • Vendor engagement experience a plus Responsibilities • Hardware Librarian • Fulfill part requests and store parts returned; includes some data entry • Move parts between buildings securely • Greet internal customers, distribute/receive parts • Assist with a broad range of inventory-related tasks • Coordinator • Inbound/outbound shipping and receiving, coordination • Review equipment/consumables purchase requests, cross-reference documentation for part accuracy, fulfill from existing stock or request assistance to purchase • Open Purchase Requests (PRs) • Collaborate with vendors to perform testing: manage parts, POs, tests schedules and documents, equipment + calibrations; update key stakeholders • Provide requested metrics from our task tracking system • Facilities • Schedule equipment moves between buildings, vendors and off-site storage • Manage Rel equipment calibrations including scheduling, shipping and vendor-engagement • Perform simple in-house calibrations • Open Purchase Requisitions (PRs)
