Job Summary:
The successful candidate will assist Project Managers in the execution of natural gas infrastructure projects across the Metro Atlanta area. This role will provide key support in managing internal teams and subcontractors, developing project scopes, coordinating contracts and RFPs, monitoring progress, managing changes, and supporting financial tracking and forecasting throughout the full project lifecycle.
Job Duties:
Assist with financial forecasting and budget tracking
Conduct cost trend and variance analyses
Support project performance reporting and monthly progress updates
Monitor work orders and contract status
Facilitate interdepartmental coordination
Assist in construction coordination
Manage change orders and QA/QC reviews
Support the preparation of bid documentation
Create purchase orders and monitor spending limits
Contribute to project closeout activities
Perform ad hoc reviews, analyses, and reporting
Track RFIs and ensure contract compliance
Monitor project schedules and timelines
Qualifications:
2â 5 years of experience in project management, project controls, or a related field
Background in heavy industry, infrastructure, or energy sectors
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
