Are you passionate about healthcare and dedicated to providing top-notch service to patients? M&C Drugstore is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at. As a vital member of our pharmacy staff, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of medications and providing exceptional customer service.

KEY FUNCTIONS

Assist the pharmacist in the preparation of prescriptions, including pricing, counting tablets/capsules, and pouring liquids and suspensions.

Aid in inventory upkeep, including monitoring stock levels and product expiration dates, as well as maintaining displays.

Contribute to general housekeeping functions to ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy.

Execute necessary documentation and record-keeping tasks related to pharmacy practice, such as IDTs, receipts, and insurance claims.

Provide exceptional customer service at the service counter, offering information and guidance on over-the-counter medications.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

Five (5) CXC passes at General Level, including Mathematics and English Language.

Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Career Diploma.

Prior experience of two (2) years' minimum in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is advantageous.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.

Sound knowledge of Pharmaceuticals, Medical Terminology, and Prescription Analysis.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Proven sales record with the ability to meet sales targets.

Working knowledge of Computer Applications.

Knowledge of Counter Point would be an asset.
