What You Will Do:
Gannett Fleming TranSystems is seeking a Senior Highway Engineer to join our
Transportation Team in Denver, CO. This role follows a hybrid work model,
requiring regular attendance at our Denver, CO office.

What you'll be challenged to do:
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Highway Engineer to join our
Denver team and contribute to exciting upcoming projects. This role offers the
opportunity to work on complex highway design projects in a hybrid work
environment while collaborating with industry-leading professionals. With
project management opportunities available, this position provides a path

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the
following:
Perform engineering design tasks for highway projects from preliminary to
final design
Develop construction contract documents, such as specifications, cost
estimates and review construction documents such as shop and working drawings.
Establish working relationships and contact with client technical staff and
project managers especially in CDOT and local governments
Mentor and assist junior engineers in developing final design plans
Collaborate with highway staff to develop projects
Coordinate design activities and meetings between design staff,
subcontractors, and client managers
Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and
scheduling performance
Works as part of a project team within the highway disciplines.
Perform Deputy PM and PM tasks.Education Experience:
What you'll bring to our firm:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required
PE required
10+ years of experience working in Traffic and Highway/Roadway design.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must have the ability to interface with all levels of personnel and
management.
Experience with MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer (preferred),
ProjectWise and Microsoft Office

Employment Status: Full-Time
Salary Range: $112,000-$170,000; Salary dependent upon experience
and geographic location
