Full-Time $23-$25/hr Temp-to-Hire Mileage Reimbursement

Dean's Professional Services is currently hiring an experienced Phlebotomist III to serve as a floater in the Cumming, GA area. This full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offers competitive pay, full benefits, and reimbursement for mileage.

This role requires a high level of phlebotomy expertise and the flexibility to travel to multiple lab sites across the region. Candidates must be professional, adaptable, and patient-focused.

Position Summary:

The Phlebotomist III is responsible for collecting high-quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing in a variety of clinical settings. This floater position involves working at different sites and requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform blood draws on patients of all ages, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric collections

Verify patient information and accurately label samples

Maintain a professional and calming presence during procedures

Assemble, clean, and restock phlebotomy supplies

Document patient and specimen data correctly

Work efficiently across multiple locations, adapting to new environments quickly

Uphold all safety and infection control procedures

Deliver exceptional service to patients and staff

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent - Required

At least 3 years of phlebotomy experience - Required

Must include pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections

2 years in a patient service center - Preferred

Phlebotomy certification - Preferred

Experience in medical assistant or paramedic roles - Preferred

Customer service background - Preferred

Accurate data entry and computer skills - Required

Excellent interpersonal skills with a calm, nurturing approach - Required

Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record - Required

Able to handle high-volume environments and shifting priorities

Job Details:

Float Position - must be willing to travel to multiple lab sites daily

Mileage reimbursement provided for travel

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (shifts vary)

Pay range: $23-$25/hour, based on experience
