Long Term Consulting Engagement

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Test Engineer with a strong software background to join our cross-functional engineering team. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives at the intersection of hardware and software, and who enjoys solving complex problems across R&D, Quality, Reliability, and Manufacturing teams.

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for developing robust software solutions and test systems that ensure the functionality, reliability, and manufacturability of our hardware devices. You'll play a key role in automating test procedures, supporting new test development, and helping drive a "Design for Test" culture during early product design phases.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Reliability, and Manufacturing teams to:

Develop and maintain GUI-based test software for use in both Manufacturing and R&D environments.

Write custom software tools to support R&D and Reliability teams in designing and executing new tests.

Design, implement, and maintain databases to log and retrieve manufacturing test data efficiently.

Provide input during product design phases to ensure testability and manufacturability (Design for Test).

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience:

Strong programming skills in C/C++, C#, and Python.

Hands-on experience with Arduino or other microcontroller platforms.

Proven experience with testing I2C-based serial devices.

Experience building test automation systems with graphical user interfaces (GUI).

Comfortable setting up and maintaining structured data systems or databases (e.g., SQL, mySQL, Mongo etc).

Demonstrated ability to work across multiple teams and rapidly adapt to changing priorities.

Strong communication skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies is a plus.

Salary Range: $105.00 - $120.00 Per Hour
