In a safe, timely, and courteous manner, the driver will operate various mobile equipment & vehicles to assure safe transportation and movement of various pre-completion/completed products and production related materials from one point to another.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To ensure the safe operation of all mobile equipment in and around Propell including public roadways.
2. Drive in a defensive manner, be aware of surrounding and look ahead, leave a safe distance between vehicles, be professional and courteous driver.
3. Keep the vehicle under control at all times and reduce speed due to changes in road, weather and traffic conditions.
4. Prepared to avoid collision producing situation by practicing and promoting safe driving skills.
5. To examine all equipment prior to or during a post trip inspection.
6. Report all significant events on road, including violations and near misses.
7. To complete a safety pre-trip inspection sheets/books on all vehicles as per Propell policies, procedures and DOT regulate.
8. To promote careful and safe driving here at Propell.
9. To ensure the safe operation of equipment at all times to ensure product adheres to the highest standards.
10. To safely shunt trailers from the yard to bay doors and vice versa as instructed by management.
11. To ensure safe movement of trailers throughout the yard, test facilities and satellite areas of Propell.
12. To support any mission, vision, budgets, goals & objectives here at Propell.
13. When on duty and not conducting one of your regular primary responsibilities you are expected to perform secondary duties as instructed by management.
14. To help provide a working environment that is safe, clean and healthy.
15. To demonstrate good teamwork and commitment to ongoing training for success in this position.
Training/ Certification:
• Class A CDL
• Forklift certification
• Air brakes
Essential Skills:
• Effective time management skills

• Able to lift 50lbs
• Good manual dexterity
• Practice safe work procedures at all times to lead by example

• Establish work priorities to ensure deadlines are met
• The ability to operate single axle trucks in a safe and responsible manner
• The ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
• To have good client service and public interaction skills.
• To ensure the recording of road tests and maintenance of daily records.
Education & Experience
* Must have at least 2 years CDL License.
