Job Description
Oversee and provide bookkeeping and billing tasks for Aleph, Weinberg, and Security.
Job Responsibilities:
Aleph Home Healthcare and Adult Day Center
Be the primary point of contact for the Director of Alep Home Care and Day Center
Respond and coordinate the Director’s requests
Support and advocate for the financial success of Aleph Home Care and Adult Day Center
Identify areas of opportunity and growth for the agency
Develop additional policies and procedures for the Aleph billing activities to help create a clear and well documented workflow
Processing Invoicing - Via web-based service ERSP and QuickBooks
Processing the client payment through ACH, Credit Cards and submission of Long-Term Care Insurance
Supporting the Home Health Aide Payroll Process
Applying payments to the open AR
Identify efficiencies in the Aleph Workflow
Coordinating Patient Collection Activity with JFed Staff AR Staff (i.e., Stephanie Hoskins)
Weinberg Residential Services/Disability Services
Maintain timely journal entries of weekly Medicare
Prepare monthly invoices for entry into Sage Intacct
Processing client payments through ACH and checks received
Apply payment to open A/R
Maintain the aging report to ensure that clients are paying on time
Security
Oversee the processing of bi-weekly invoices
Act as the point of contact for clients and the Security staff
Maintain the aging report to ensure that clients are paying timely
Light General Accounting Duties
Record Monthly Standard Journal Entries as requested by the CFO and Accounting Manager
G/L analysis and KPI reporting
Duties as assigned
Required Education & Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Solid MS Excel User
Associate degree in accounting, finance or business
Experience Reconciling G/L Accounts
Comfortable working in different databases
Strong Organizational Skills
Knowledge of QuickBooks, Sage Intacct or other ERPs
Knowledge of MS Office Products such as Outlook and Word
Has experience working in a General Ledger
Willingness to ask for help when the workload appears too complex or difficult
Willingness to ask questions when “something” does not make sense
