The CBN is seeking (1) dedicated and experienced Project Coordinator.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
The essential duties and responsibilities of the Project Coordinator are the following:
Administrative Support:
Provides administrative support to faculty and staff in completing special projects. Facilitates and oversees project development meetings, sends follow-up emails and assists with scheduling, and helps coordinate the CBN annual retreat.
Communications and digital media:
Develops and maintains CBN’s Social Media Plan. Runs multiple websites for the outreach programs.
Coordinates educational programs:
Coordination of education programs, such as the Atlanta Regional Brain Bee, the neuroscience summer school, and the ION summer high school internship program.
Coordinates outreach:
Manages the CBN lending library, which has resources for outreach used by scientists across Atlanta. Coordinates outreach activities, such as the Atlanta Science Festival and school visits.
General office support:
Helps with budget management, time approvals for student positions, and mentoring student workers.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and two years’ related experience; or a high school diploma or GED and six years related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
Familiarity with Georgia State University policy and procedures regarding travel, purchasing, disbursements, the ability to communicate scientific content is preferred.
Shift:
