Job Description
In this role; you have the opportunity to
Perform a variety of tasks relating to production operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
Demonstrate professionalism, leadership and initiative in your daily activities, with excellent inter-personal and communication skills both oral and written.
Within this role; you are responsible for:
Install, assemble, and inspect electronic components during product assembly, per documented work instructions.Interpreting Job Routers, written instructions, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly of electronics.
Performing a variety of inspections to ensure assemblies meet/exceed IPC standards.
Performing pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts.
Using hand and/or power tools and, jigs.
Modifying, soldering, reworking, repairing assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
Other duties asassigned by Lead or Supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Must have meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Must be able to work for extended hours utilizing a microscope to perform inspection and solder touch-ups
7 or more year of hand soldering experience
Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic discharge) procedures
Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet production and customer needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Electronics assembly and inspection experience with in-process soldering (both through hole and surface mount), rework/repair, wire attach, and mechanical assembly
IPC-610, J-STD-001 and 7711/7721 certification
Good written and verbal communication skills
Must be detail oriented and able to multitask.
10 plus years related experience
