Job Summary
The General laborer is accountable to produce goods as specified on the job traveler or other instructions given by supervisor.
What You’ll Do…
Perform production operations to obtain utmost and ongoing efficiency
Support ongoing quality improvement processes to ensure all deliverables are produced defect free and aligned with technical specifications
Follow standard operational procedures and work practices and policies to ensure consistency of output
Produce goods as specified on the job ticket or other instructions given by the supervisor or team leader
Follow MPI procedures per job work center
Read and understand job traveler and utilize computer job tracking system
Visually inspect for substandard sheets during all operations
Maintain efficiency and quality benchmarks per MPI standards
Request any training required for you to succeed
Maintain organized and clean work environment
Enter recommendations to management for improvements in areas such as personal safety improved product quality better rates and yields, or any other matters that impact shop costs or employee’s health
Practice safe working habits as detailed in the Company Safety Manual and Employee Handbook
Do other tasks as directed by a supervisor
