*JOB SUMMARY:
Galveston College is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Adjunct Faculty Member in
Sociology to provide high-quality, in-person instruction to students. The ideal candidate will
have a strong background in sociology and a passion for teaching. This position involves
delivering engaging coursework, fostering critical thinking, and supporting student learning in a
classroom setting.

*QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree or higher in Sociology or a closely related field.
Previous teaching experience at the college or university level preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to student success and inclusive learning.
