Position overview:
Reporting directly to Regional Quality Manager Wiring, our future Regional APQP Engineer will have as main missions to Coordinate Lear Quality/Warranty Team for Quality related items during new RFQs revision and feedback. Ensure that all activities needed are performed on time and according Lear procedures and automotive standards to reach a flawless launch
Key Responsibilities:
To plan, coordinate, prioritize and conduct Advanced Quality execution Audits (LPEI) on site or remote prior to SOP according Lear Procedures and planning, identifying risk and mitigation activities if required.
Support plants in the Customer Advanced Quality audits ensuring their requirements are correctly understood and implemented.
Training, guide and monitor sites and users in advanced quality compliance according to Automotive standards.
Escalation function for LPMP status (activities, milestones and timing fulfillment) highlighting red issues to senior management, provide launch status.
Provide support to Advanced Quality teams in each plant, including on site processes and products verification.
Ensure fulfillment of quality activities according to LPMP and internal procedures. Review and update procedure proposals to be done to owner team, in case of change needed.
Escalation when there is a risk for Customer satisfaction or/and internal roadblock during project development.
Lead the revision, support preparation and confirm answer provided with the cross functional teams for RFQs for the related Quality/Warranty topics.
Review, develop and propose update internal / external standards and procedures to cover and support all the APQP activities.
Key skills and Qualifications:
Technical master degree.
Good Knowledge of the project launch APQP and PPAP disciplines.
Min 2 years experience in wiring and participation in a project launch
Demonstrated skills on: Launch/project Quality planning, Lear Pro, PV test, Control plan, PDCA, 8D, MSA, statistical tools, PPAP requirements.
Availability to travel frequently within plants in Morocco and sporadically to Europe.
Proficiency in both English & French languages, spoken and written
