Advance CNC has an opening for a 2nd Shift Quality Inspector (M-F 3:30 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.) who shares our core values of partnership, respect, integrity, determination, and excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work closely with production teams, engineers, and management to communicate quality issues and provide input on improvements

Prepare inspection reports and document any defects found during inspections

Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and compliance status

Conduct inspections, tests, and evaluations of materials, components, and finished products, and collaborate with production teams to implement quality control measures

Ensure that products and processes comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements

Interpret drawings with standard dimensioning and tolerancing and GD&T

Assess risks and discern appropriate action

Utilize measuring instruments (CMMs, micrometers and gauges) to check dimensions, tolerances, and other specifications.

DESIRED SKILLS:

Proficiency in Blueprint Interpretation

Deep knowledge of quality control principles

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies

Experience in Precision Measurement (calipers and micrometers)

Excellent quantitative aptitude

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Experience working in a machine shop environment

COMPENSATION PACKAGE INCLUDES:

80 hours of paid time off (PTO) your first year and 128 hours your second year. Accrue 8 additional hours of PTO for each year of service (up to a maximum of 200 hours per year)
