About the Role:

The Part Time Human Resource Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department's initiatives within the transportation and warehousing industry. This position is responsible for assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations, ensuring that all HR processes run smoothly and efficiently. The coordinator will also help maintain employee records and assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures. By fostering a positive work environment, this role contributes to employee satisfaction and retention. Ultimately, the Human Resource Coordinator helps align the workforce with the company's strategic goals, enhancing overall organizational performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience in an HR support role or similar position.

Strong understanding of HR principles and employment laws.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience in the transportation and warehousing industry.

Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems.

Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.

Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training coordination.

Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Support employee relations by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Assist in the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
