Job Summary:
We seek compassionate and experienced Call Center Agents to join our Patient Care Call Center team. As a Patient Care Call Center Agent, you will provide exceptional patient care experiences through empathetic and effective communication, addressing patient concerns, and facilitating timely resolutions.
This position is in-person at our Scottsdale, AZ office. MUST BE WILLING TO COMMUTE TO SCOTTSDALE AND WORK IN OFFICE!
MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY FOR COVERAGE.
Job: Call Center Representative
Schedule:
Monday-Friday
8am-4:30
10am-6:30
Pay: $20.00 hourly
Responsibilities:
Answer inbound patient calls, responding to medical concerns and questions.
Provide accurate information on medications, treatments, and healthcare services.
Document patient interactions in electronic health records (EHRs).
Triage urgent patient concerns, escalating to healthcare providers as needed.
Schedule appointments and follow-up care.
Educate patients on self-care and disease management.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements:
High school diploma required
Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA) preferred not required
2+ years of experience in healthcare, preferably in patient care.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to empathize with patients and families.
Proficiency in EHRs (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
Good organizational skills required
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Publisher
Nice to Have:
Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare-related field.
Experience in call center or customer service.
Certification in patient advocacy or case management.
Bilingual or multilingual skills.
