INVENTORY ASSOCIATE
JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full Time Hourly Non-Exempt
JOB OVERVIEW:
MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Inventory associate ensures that all products are accounted for, either on the shelves, or picked up. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily scan all purchased product still on shelves, in order of auction close date
Ensure product is situated on correct shelves
Ensure all items are either in the warehouse properly or scanned as picked up by the customer
Review the missing product list to search for missing items
Escalate missing product to the general manager if not found
Organize/neaten product for easy retrieval (bar codes on outside, product stacked safely)
Be proficient with the inventory check interface dashboard
Know how auction items are categorized on the shelves, including auction and lot numbers
May help with removal if workload dictates
Other tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be available to work onsite Sunday-Saturday 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a half-hour lunch break and 2 days off per week
Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
Must be tech-savvy
Must be highly organized
Must be detail-oriented
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
