USPS Mail Delivery Driver (AEXP) - Moses Lake, WA

Job Description

Salary: $25.25 per hour ($19.89 base + $5.36/hour Cash-in-Lieu of Benefits)

AEXP Express LLC, one of the nations leaders in Contract Delivery Service for the United States Postal Service, with locations nationwide, is currently seeking applicants for Seasonal/Part Time Mail / Package Delivery Driver on a United States Postal Service mail route in Moses Lake, Washington.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work 3-4 Days per week and available for shifts any day Monday to Saturday.

Must have a qualifying vehicle (Truck/SUV/Minivan with at least 120 cubic feet of cargo capacity & less than 5 years old) and minimum liability insurance.

Must have legal documentation to work in the United States

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have a valid driver's license

Must be able to lift 70 lbs.

Must be able to work and safely drive in all types of weather conditions

Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city of Moses Lake, Washington

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Sorting mail and packages in delivery sequence foractive mailboxes

Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle.

Delivering mail and packages to customer boxes along an assignedline-of-travel.

Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items.

Other administrative duties are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Route delivery/ unloading experience

Former USPS, UPS, FedEx employees

JOB SPECIFICS:

Work Schedule: Available to be scheduled as needed Monday through Saturday

Time: 8:15AM until route is finished [varies approximately 7 to 8 Hours per day]

Delivery vehicle provided by driver

$25.25/hour made up of the following:

Base Pay: $19.89 per hour

Health & Welfare Allowance: $5.36/hour (capped at 40 actual work hours per week)

Non-Taxable Vehicle Use Reimbursement of $.70/mile (approximately $61.00/day)

Holiday Pay:11 Paid Holiday's [Government Holidays observed] (Pro-rated for Part-Time)

Vacation Pay: 1 Week after one year of service (Pro-rated for Part-Time)

Must be available to start immediately
