Bolongo Bay Beach Resort is located on the serene island of St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands and is a family-owned and managed beach resort nestled in a beautiful sandy bay along the Caribbean Sea. As a Resort Hostess at Bolongo Bay Beach Resort, you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for guests dining at our all-inclusive resort. Your warm, professional demeanor will create a positive and memorable first impression, ensuring our guests feel valued and cared for. You will manage reservations, guide guests to their tables, and assist with any special requests, providing exceptional service that reflects the resort’s commitment to luxury and hospitality.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.

Manage and coordinate reservations, seating plans, and waitlists to optimize dining room efficiency.

Escort guests to their tables and present menus, highlighting any special offerings.

Communicate guest preferences and special requests to the service team.

Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and inviting.

Provide accurate information about resort amenities, dining options, and special events.

Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.

Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Uphold the resort’s standards of appearance, professionalism, and service.

Education & Experience:

High School or equivalent education required

Previous experience as a hostess, receptionist, or in a customer service role preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

Valid Health Card is required

Positive attitude, professional appearance, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
