Position Summary:

As Nova Color’s first direct sales hire, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Direct Sales Representative to develop and implement sales strategies for expanding our presence in wholesale distribution channels. This pioneering role will not only drive sales but also create and optimize systems for managing these new channels efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales with the ability to innovate and streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Identify and target potential wholesale partners that align with Nova Color’s strategic goals.

· Develop and execute sales strategies to introduce Nova Color products into new markets and distribution channels.

· Design and establish new sales systems and processes to effectively manage relationships and transactions with wholesalers and distributors.

· Negotiate and close agreements with wholesale distributors, ensuring compliance with company policies and profitability targets.

· Own the entire purchase order (PO) submission process, from creation to approval, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial guidelines.

· Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exploring opportunities for additional sales.

· Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports, analyzing market trends and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

· Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote Nova Color products and forge new business relationships.

· Provide training and support to wholesalers and distributors on product features, benefits, and proper usage to maximize sales potential.

Requirements:

· Proven experience in direct sales, preferably in the arts supplies or similar industry.

· Strong understanding of wholesale distribution networks and strategies.

· Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new sales systems and processes.

· Ability to travel as required to meet business needs.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Base Pay: 50-60K/ Plus Commission
