Summary:

Metal Sales is the nation's largest manufacturer of metal roofing and building systems with 21 locations across America. Our Sellersburg, IN branch has an opening on our team for a Receptionist and we are searching for a data entry/administrative professional that enjoys customer service and being a part of a dynamic team.

This position is generally routine in nature primarily answering and distributing phone calls, helping with order entry and correct invoicing, and supporting other customer service department duties as needed.

You’ll be responsible for (but not limited to):

Directing all incoming and inter-office phone calls

Accurately keying in customer orders into proprietary software programs

Organizing and filing all completed customer sales orders

Matching customer signed proof of delivery copies with sales orders

Processing accounts payable invoices to be sent to Metal Sales Corporate office for payment

Invoicing completed customer sales orders

Distributing incoming and outgoing mail

Assisting with other tasks and responsibilities as needed, such as handling overflow customer phone calls during peak season and collating pricing material and/or sales promotional documentation.

The most qualified candidates will have:

One year experience in a data entry or administrative support role in a customer-centric office setting

Phenomenal data entry accuracy and attention to detail

Comfort performing routine tasks

Professional communication skills

Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other applications

Experience working in the construction or manufacturing industry, ideally with residential roofing and/or siding preferred

High school diploma or GED
