Job Title: Quality Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Specialist to evaluate quality assurance methods of suppliers and in-house processes. This role involves analyzing supplier non-conformance details, providing technical direction, conducting thorough supplier audits, and managing corrective actions. The ideal candidate will foster a team environment to develop and implement best practices for defect prevention, reduction of waste, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Evaluate quality assurance methods of suppliers and in-house processes.
Analyze supplier non-conformance details, communicating details internally and with suppliers.
Provide technical direction to suppliers and departments for quality assessment and validate the results.
Conduct thorough supplier audits and follow up with timely responses from suppliers.
Manage suppliers’ quality corrective actions, monitoring timeliness, as well as overall effectiveness.
Manage containment and sorts for supplier non-conformances.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 3 years of experience in the quality department/manufacturing.
Experience in PPAP requirements and root cause analysis.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
