Job Description
Candidates will be responsible for operating either a Flat Laser or tube laser cutting machine on a daily basis. They will be working off of blueprints to set up the machine and run the material through the laser.
Responsibilities
Operate Flat Laser or tube laser cutting machine daily
Work off of blueprints to set up machines
Run material through laser
Read and understand blueprints
Utilize basic mathematical skills
Effectively and efficiently read a tape measure
Utilize CNC programming
Perform fabrication and welding tasksEssential Skills
1+ years of experience operating machines in an industrial manufacturing environment
1+ years of experience reading blueprints
3+ years of experience utilizing CNC Press Brake
Ability to read a tape measure
Good math and geometry skills
Understanding of axis and angles
Ability to lift 40+ pounds
Grabbing, bending, lifting, pulling, standing for 8+ hours a dayAdditional Skills & Qualifications
Job shop experience
BOM/Purchase order experience
Fabrication experience
Welding experience (MIG)
Laser cutting experience
High school diploma required

The company is experiencing significant growth and expanding to a weekend shift to support their growing customer base. You will be part of a dynamic and expanding team, contributing to the company's continued success.
Work Environment
This position is in a job shop manufacturing environment. The facility is not climate-controlled but is well insulated and tolerable in both winter and summer. 2nd shift hours are Monday-Thursday 2:30 PM-1:00 AM, with overtime starting Friday at Noon. 1st shift hours are 4:00 AM-2:30 PM Monday-Thursday, with overtime on Friday morning.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
