Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

The production worker will take on a versatile role involving the loading and stacking of materials onto and off the production line. Responsibilities include performing visual quality inspections, cutting tiles to size, and palletizing finished tiles. While most tiles weigh around 2 pounds, some may be heavier due to additional applications. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently is required, with team lifting for anything above.

Responsibilities

Load materials onto the production line.

Stack material as it comes off the line.

Perform visual quality inspections.

Cut tiles to specified sizes.

Stack and palletize finished tiles.

Lift and handle materials, including team lifts for heavier items.Essential Skills

At least 1 year of experience in machine operation or production line.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Proficiency in assembly and production processes.

Experience as a machine operator.

Skills in finishing and cutting materials.

Competency in using hand tools and power tools.

Experience as a material handler.

Forklift operation skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Visual quality inspection expertise.

Packing and palletizing experience.Work Environment

Work in a very clean environment that is not climate controlled, which may be warm during the summer months. Employees will be working with fiberglass, which requires sensitivity awareness. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided to cover arms and neck to prevent fiberglass irritation. The use of gloves, earplugs, and safety glasses is mandatory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hilliard, Ohio.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
