Description

As a Carpenter Helper, you will work in the exterior door shop, assisting with the preparation and assembly of doors. You will run machines to cut framing and trim, cut holes for window and door knob installations, and perform finishing touches on doors.

Responsibilities

Run machines to cut framing and trim for doors.

Cut holes for window and door knob installations.

Read and interpret tape measures accurately.

Tape doors off for painting.

Spray doors with the requested finish coat.

Ensure doors are properly prepped and finished for drying.Essential Skills

2+ years of carpentry experience

Experience with air tools is preferred

Work Environment

You will work with a small team of 2-3 people in a climate-controlled environment. While the majority of the work is performed independently, you will collaborate with your team as needed. The standard shift is from 7am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, with an expectation of working at least 10 additional hours per week during the busy season.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OMAHA, Nebraska.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
