Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a CNC Machinist where you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathe machines. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as you will be interpreting technical drawings and adjusting machine controls to meet exacting specifications.
Responsibilities
Set up CNC machines including lathes and mills by installing and adjusting fixtures, tools, and workpieces.
Load raw materials into the machine and modify machine controls for proper alignment.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to understand machining requirements.
Input and modify CNC programs using G-code to meet design specifications.
Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to ensure parts meet strict tolerance.
Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years experience operating CNC machines, preferably in a manufacturing facility.
Proficiency in precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Familiarity with basic CNC programming languages, including G-code and M-code.Why Work Here

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Morton, Illinois.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
