We are currently in search of a Clinical Site Supervisor for our Beavercreek location. Ideally, this candidate is a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (This is a working supervisory position).

Beavercreek Commons Family Practice, like all Providence primary care practices, is a recognized Patient-Centered Medical Home, and focuses on building lasting patient relationships based on trust and continuity of care.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)

Coordinates the general and technical supervision over clinical personnel in accordance with practice, governmental and other regulatory standards.

Suggests clinical goals and objectives.

Recommends and implements clinical policies and procedures. Updates staff on changes.

Participates in the assessment of clinical staffing needs. Forecasts staffing needs.

Participates in clinical care essential to the assessment, promotion, maintenance and restoration of patient's health and wellness.

Evaluates patient care needs. Suggests solutions to patient care crisis problems and complaints.

Identifies, studies and recommends solutions to clinical service problems.

Gives guidance and counsel to clinical staff. Provides in-service education.

Ensures that office space, supplies, and equipment are provided and maintained appropriately for clinical staff and patient care.

Coordinates clinical services with other practice personnel.

Attends required meetings and participates in committees, as requested.

Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations. Attends conferences and workshops.

Maintains patient confidentiality.

Ensures compliance with regulatory and legal requirements: to include but not limited to complete OSHA Compliance and training and Lab CLIA Compliance.

Performs related work as required.

Performs employee evaluations and makes recommendations with regard to pay increases, promotion and disciplinary actions in conjunction with the Site Business Supervisor.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of CPT codes and ICD-10 codes, and ensures compliance with staff and providers.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of medical practice and care to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and the EMR system.

Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care.

Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.

Knowledge of the principles and practices of employee development to train staff.

Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.

Skill in identifying problems, and researching and recommending solutions.

Knowledge of Basic Microsoft Office programs, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.

Skill in preparing and maintaining records, running reports, and responding to correspondence.

Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance.

Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, staff and the public.

Ability to maintain quality control standards.

Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.

Ability to communicate clearly.

Ability to effectively delegate responsibilities.

EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited program for medical assistants.

EXPERIENCE: One year of medical assisting experience including one year of supervisory level experience.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Possession of a valid state license, or certification.
