Your responsibilities will include:
The Network Administrator, located in Williamtown, NSW, will be the first point of contact for customer inquiries and have a broad spectrum of tasks falling under the below categories:
Network Planning/Administration
Network Load Balancing
Network Fault Management
Network Performance Management
Duties will also include:
Data Management: Manage classified and sensitive data elements (in accordance with program security policy).
Backup/Restore/Disaster Recovery; Run application for System settings and Registry backups.
Application Support; Install Joint-Service Technical Data (JTD) on the appropriate ALIS units at the site (task shared with System Administrators);and Configure ALIS applications, including but not limited to Supply Chain Management and to the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), with appropriate Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) codes and part numbers.
Network; se a series of automated auditing tools augmented with manual processes to ensure auditing occurs to guarantee compliance of the accredited systems with established security policies.
About you:
Tertiary qualifications from an accredited institution in a related discipline (typically Information Technology), and/or equivalent experience/combined education.
Network administration experience
Virtual Private Network (VPN) / Network+
Routers/Switches
Special Requirements:
Applicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold an NV2 CoA Defence clearance.
