Description:

Plans, programs and manages inter functional teams in tasks of a certain degree of complexity acting independently with minimal supervision executing approved projects. Responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating optimally the cost - effectiveness of projects related to new and / or changes in products, processes and new technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop projects to optimize manufacturing processes, including the use of engineering methods (Six Sigma, Lean) for the continuous improvement of processes and products. Lead the implementation ensuring that the business objectives and expected quality standards are met. Validate and implement changes of products, processes or equipment.

• Develop complex tests and experiments (including writing and execution of protocols) to qualify and validate Manufacturing processes; follow up on protocol activities, train technicians; analyze results, make recommendations and develop reports.

• Submit changes (creation and changes of structures, procedures and documents) through the Change Control Systems of Edwards Lifesciences.

• Analyze and solve moderately complex manufacturing and compliance problems (for example, CAPA, non-conformities, audit observations).

• Establish and manage project plans to ensure that deliverables are completed according to the client's expectations, using the project management tools (for example, project plan, risk analysis).

• Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement of manufacturing processes or systems.

• Supervise and train personnel to ensure compliance with the tasks that support the projects.

• Other additional tasks may be assigned by the area leader.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in in Electronic Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial, Chemistry, Industrial Design or other related field, 4 Years experience of previous experience Required or

Master's Degree or equivalent in in Electronic Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial, Chemistry, Industrial Design or other related field, 3 years years experience of previous experience Required or

Ph.D. or equivalent in in Electronic Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial, Chemistry, Industrial Design or other related fieldno experience Required

CAD experience Preferred

Previous experience working with laboratory / industrial equipment Preferred

Experience working in the medical device industry or experience in similar processes Preferred

Additional Skills:

• Good computer skills in the use of MS Office Suite

• Strong documentation and interpersonal relationship skills

• Proven expertise of statistical techniques

• Substantial understanding and knowledge of principles, theories and concepts relevant to Engineering.

• Strong problem solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

• Strong knowledge of the processes and equipment used in the assigned work

• Knowledge of project management.

• Strict attention to detail

• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

• Ability to manage competitive priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work in a team environment, including the ability to manage suppliers and project stakeholders

• Ability to build productive internal / external productive relationships
