EEO Program Administrator Position Overview

Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) is seeking an EEO Program Administrator to join our team and play an important role in advancing our mission of empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring OOD's Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action (AA) programs. You will evaluate workforce analytics, identify strategies, and ensure compliance with EEO and AA guidelines across our statewide offices. Additionally, you will conduct investigations into complaints of discrimination, prepare investigative reports, and advise management on case resolutions. A successful EEO Program Administrator has strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with others, the ability to reason through complex issues, and proficiency in written and verbal communication.

Your expertise will be valuable in providing technical assistance to managers, supervisors, and staff on EEO matters, as well as conducting employee training and presentations on topics such as EEO and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Background Check

30 months' training or 30 months' experience in conducting EEO & affirmative action investigative & compliance activities; valid driver's license.

-OR undergraduate core coursework in personnel management, business or public administration to include coursework in personnel management principles; 12 months' training or 12 months' experience in interviewing; AND 12 months training or 12 months experience in EEO & affirmative action regulations & procedures; AND 12 months' training or 12 months' experience in employee training & development; valid driver's license.

-OR 12 months' experience as EEO Officer, 69132; valid driver's license.

-OR equivalent of education and/or experience per Minimum Class Qualifications noted above.
