Building Engineer/Lead Engineer- (Multiple Shifts)

Hays Facilities Management has partnered with a leading Real Estate investor to hire Building Engineers/Lead Engineers for their portfolio in Washington D.C.

Your new role

The job duties of the BE/Lead BE will include, among others:

- Operate building systems/equipment at the direction of the Chief Engineer

- Assess, diagnose and fix building equipment as needed

- Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance, and respond to work orders and tenant issues

- Be involved in Capex projects as needed, and oversee 3rd party contracts as needed

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:

- Industry trade certifications like EPA Universal and DC Stationary Steam Operator Class 3 license are highly preferred

- Proven experience working on commercial/mixed-use assets is highly preferred

- A valid driver’s license and ability to communicate well is needed

- **Shifts available: 6AM-2PM, 9AM–5PM, and 10AM-6PM**

What you'll get in return

Hourly rates between $35-$50, plus 10% bonus
