Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in assisting with the operation of a tube laser. You will be responsible for monitoring the cutting process and ensuring the quality of finished cuts. Training will be provided to enable you to make minor adjustments to the machine, and you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained in various departments, including the finishing department, as well as learn how to operate a flat laser.
Responsibilities
Assist with the operation of a tube laser.
Monitor the cutting process and check the quality of finished cuts.
Make minor adjustments to the machine as needed.
Receive cross-training in different departments, such as the finishing department.
Learn to operate a flat laser.Essential Skills
At least 2+ years' experience performing machine operation within a production environment.
At least 2+ years' experience working as a general production worker in a production environment.
Experience in laser operation.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring equipment.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience operating a CNC/laser operating machine.
Experience with grinding, polishing, and deburring
Work Environment
Work in a metal fabrication manufacturing company with a fairly clean environment that is not climate controlled. Choose from a variety of shifts: 1st (6:50am - 3pm), 2nd (2:50pm-11pm), or 3rd (10:50pm - 7am).
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plain City, OhioPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
