Company Urgently Hiring Welding Supervisor!Job Description:

The Welding Supervisor will oversee and manage the daily welding operations, leading a team of welders to ensure production efficiency, maintain quality standards, and optimize processes to meet production goals.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the implementation of company values, policies, and principles.

Supervise an effective team, including production/capacity planning, performance appraisals, managing staffing levels, and providing feedback.

Inspect welds, materials, equipment, and monitor gauges and dials to ensure compliance with production standards.

Conceive fixtures, jigs, etc., to solve welding-related issues efficiently.

Resolve operations and manufacturing problems to minimize costs and prevent delays.

Ensure timely completion of paperwork.

Collaborate with different departments to ensure resource availability for production.

Attend daily production meetings with the Production Manager, department leaders, and quality control.

Uphold quality control protocols to ensure product quality.

Communicate with the Production Manager about departmental issues.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations, Policies, and Procedures.

Resolve employee issues through the grievance process and recommend recognitions, promotions, or disciplinary actions.Essential Skills

Energetic and self-starting, with good computer literacy (email, Office) and organizational skills.

Effective communication and team-building skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and understand various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, STICK, Robots, grinding, etc.).

Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols.

Deep understanding of various welding techniques and equipment.

Experience supervising 10-20 welders in a metal manufacturing environment.

Mathematical and mechanical aptitude.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to identify and troubleshoot manufacturing defects.

Working knowledge of different metals and sheet gauges.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
