About the role
The Design Draftsperson plays a key role in creating and managing designs, drawings, and specifications for construction projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and smooth workflow coordination.
This position is located at our Limay, Bataan Manufacturing Site, operating on a Monday to Friday schedule.
What you will be doing
• Safety Leadership and Compliance: Lead by example in addressing SH&E hazards, enforce high standards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and design bases.
• Design Drafting and Standards: Prepare and update detailed designs and construction drawings across engineering disciplines, adhering to company and Australian Standards.
• Drawing Quality and Verification: Ensure drafting flows through the Design Quality Plan (DQP) system, and review and verify drafting work for compliance and accuracy.
• Drafting Workflow Management: Plan, prioritize, and manage drafting workflows while coordinating resources, including contractors, as needed.
• Expertise in Fixed and Mobile Plants: Maintain detailed knowledge of functional requirements, design, and maintainability for fixed and mobile plants, reusing designs and drawings effectively.
What you will bring
At least 3 years of professional experience in an engineering design and drafting role.
Comprehensive knowledge of AS1100 drawing standards is mandatory.
Proficient in engineering design and drafting with proven expertise.
Advanced proficiency and extensive experience in using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Solid practical understanding of materials handling, electrical systems, and pumping systems.
