We are currently seeking a Regional Director to oversee our Before/After School and Summer Programs throughout Southwestern New York.
This leadership role is responsible for managing multiple Healthy Kids Program sites, including school-based Before/After School programs and community-based Summer Camps. The position requires frequent travel within the region to ensure program consistency, quality, and support.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned and energetic leader with a strong commitment to fostering child-centered, supportive learning environments. This role combines educational leadership with day-to-day operational management, including responsibility for staffing, enrollment, financial oversight, marketing, and overall program coordination.
PAY RATE: Base Salary of $41,500 (with potential for growth)

DIRECT REPORTS: Program Site Teams
Key Responsibilities:
As Regional Director, your primary goal will be to ensure the effective operation of all Before/After School and Summer Camp Programs with a focus on quality, compliance, and leadership.
Staffing & Supervision:
Hire, guide, and mentor a capable team to deliver dependable, high-quality care and programming across all assigned locations.
Compliance Oversight:
Ensure full compliance with New York State regulations for childcare, school-age programs, and summer camps.
Program Quality:
Implement and support engaging, safe, and developmentally appropriate programs aligned with Healthy Kids’ Best Practices and Curriculum. Strong classroom management and positive parent relations are a must.
Team Leadership:
Foster a positive, communicative work culture with strong accountability and solution-oriented leadership.
Performance Management:
Promptly address performance concerns, offer clear feedback, and provide opportunities for professional development to help team members meet program expectations.
Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with the Senior Regional and Executive Directors to strengthen program effectiveness and apply best practices.
Meetings & Communication:
Attend regular leadership meetings (remote and in-person) and clearly communicate priorities, goals, and policies to site leadership.
Operational Oversight:
Monitor payroll closely and coordinate with the Registration team to ensure all student records are complete and accurate.
Marketing Coordination:
Partner with the Marketing department to gather timely program updates and visuals for promotional use.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and maintain strong working relationships with school staff, building administrators, licensing representatives, and local childcare organizations.
Regional Growth:
Help identify new program opportunities and support the successful rollout of additional sites.
Internal Collaboration:
Work with other departments, executive leadership, and families to ensure the overall success of all programs.
Policy Adherence:
Uphold and enforce company policies, Code of Conduct, and state regulatory requirements consistently and fairly.
Candidate Qualifications:
Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
Familiarity with NYS childcare regulations is beneficial, though not required
Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role, including 1 year in a childcare environment; business operations experience is a plus
Strong administrative and leadership capabilities within customer-oriented settings
Excellent communication skills and a family-centered approach
Demonstrated ability to cultivate a collaborative, team-first culture
Committed to maintaining high-quality programming and budget-conscious staffing
Must pass a comprehensive background screening, including fingerprinting
Must meet medical fitness standards for job duties
